Ashmore's Iceman was fine but nothing special. Like others have said: he was a bit too serious.

#11: Kevin Durand as Blob! Another good cast choice on a movie that only I seemed to like. Terrible that he had an off-scene death though.

Uh, I remember him being okay? Nothing memorable but his part was so small (did he do anything after that wrestling fight), it doesn't stand out. I see him as Keamy from LOST mostly so I guess he did good in making his characters very different.

I don't remember much about Blob, but I thought his role was quite big hehe

After that he died off-scene, his other role was in the flashback but only as part of the black ops team, nothing hugely significant.

#12: Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben

Was a fine Uncle Ben for me. Couldn't really say who was better out of him or Martin Sheen as both were very good. I'm glad the 'With great power...' line was attributed to him and they actually managed to say it in the movie.

Not much attention for Old Uncle Ben. Let's see if Rhodey/Terrence Howard can do much better?

Was good but I prefer Cheadle in the role. He had a more commanding presence and looked like he could kick ass. I couldn't imagine Howard in the suit at all.

I actually preferred Howard to Cheadle as I thought him and Downey worked better together on screen and I bought them as friends, whilst with Cheadle I didn't really believe that they had been friends for years.

14. Ian McKellen as Magneto, one of my favourites.

Cliff Robertson was good, but I preferred Martin Sheen's Uncle Ben. I feel that Terrence Howard captured Rhodey's look more than Don Cheadle does, but I don't mind either. And if you dislike Ian McKellan's Magneto, you're wrong.

Don't really know about Uncle Ben, can't remember him that well from the Raimi films
Howard's Rhodey was good in the first film but I'm not sure he'd have been as good as Cheadle in 2 & 3, though OTOH I don't think Cheadle would have been as good as Howard in the first.
McKellan is awesome as Magneto

Excellent as Magneto, almost as good as Stewart's Xavier.
