DC have spent 20+ issues building up to this and you know what it's NOT AN EVENT.
DC have not had 1 single event since the new 52 started because in order for it to be an actual event (In recent years) it needs it's own mini series titled book which this doesn't have.
Trinity war is just the new crossover now that Throne of Atlantis, Death of the Family and Wrath of the First Lantern (almost) are over.
and you know what, I prefer this.
why does the upcoming marvel infinity need a 6 issue mini, why cant the story be told in avengers and new avengers where everyone has been reading the build-up to this story but now you need to buy a completely separate book to get the primary plot.
Need to say good job and thank you to DC for actually containing the primary story to the actual ongoing books.
I'm really looking forward to this. Marvel take lessons.

Highlight message to read spoilers:
Holy crap Justice League #22 was frickin' amazing!!!! That bit at the end, with the Outsider! I called that after his Flashpoint series but the way they did it: genius!

I loved JL #22. Read it twice yesterday, was very easy to get into (especially considering I've not been reading JL or JLA), and was just all around awesome.
