Another popular thread from before - what've you been reading lately, and is it any good?
I'm currently reading through Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I'm only 4 issues in, and I love it.

I'm going to go through the whole 18 issue Silver Surfer run from the sixties. Has one of my favorite comics of all time. (I swear, I've read it about five times and still can't get bored of it)

18 issues? Is that all it lasted? Wow, I thought it was more. XD

It was meant to go on for more, but low sales I think took it away. And looking at the latter issues, they don't seem anywhere near as good as the earlier ones. It just turned into who Silver Surfer was going to team up with next.

Is it worth checking out then? I assume this is the series they've collected as one of those black and white Essential volumes.

Yeah, but you can get it in two paperbacks which are full color. And their worth the money. Yes, they are worth the money. I say buy the color ones if you have the money. They are pretty colorful comics.

Hey, no worries Britnaix. Glad to recommend a good series to a fellow Forumer.

I'm on a re-read of Waid and Wieringo's Fantastic Four run which is one of my all time favourite creative stints in comics. Also re-reading the first 9 issues of Uncanny X-Force which I didn't appreciate on first read. I'm enjoying it so much more this time round, it's a solid book.
In terms of new stuff, slowly working my way through Nightwing V1 and Astonishing X-Men V1.

I agree, Waid and Wieringo's run on Fantastic Four was superb.

This week I have mostly been reading Scott Pilgrim, I'm about a third of the way through book 5 now, hopefully finish tomorrow night. I only read the books once before, just before the movie came out, and thought it was about time I read them again as its my favourite movie.

My reading list atm has been dominated by Neil Gaiman. I finally finished The Sandman, which was excellent, and I've got an issue or so left of his Death: The Deluxe Edition HC to read. Then I've got the recently re-HC'd Books of Magic to read, and then no more Gaiman for a while >.<

I'm 3 issues into Hawkeye v1: My Life as a Weapon. Which is, of course, spectacular.
Also reading through the Infinity sagas (Gauntlet, War, Conquest) on Marvel Unlimited.
