I havent read much about the story but have no reason not to expect it to be good but I can't doubt that the three covers are amazing.
Is Firestorm a member of the Justice League now then? I've not read it since before Throne of Atlantis. I also dont recognize the two in the top left. And is the pink woman above Superman meant to be Black Orchid or am I way off?

The two in the top left are Doctor Light and Element Woman, and the lady in pink above Superman is Madame Xanadu.
That is a gorgeous image. Shame it's too big for me to get as my desktop background lol

Cheers for the answers Lem. Does that mean no Black Orchid there or am I missing her? And taunting/FYI, its just big enough for my background

I only just realised its the 3 Justice League teams fighting one another, I just thought it was a total mash up and one it was just an image I briefly looked at that didnt really register in my mind. I do admire DC's patience in building up to this and making something truly epic, rather than Marvel pumping events out every single year. Looks to be something quite special here, I look forward to reading it in trade.
Come 2015...

Black Orchid's not in that image.
There is however a female Atom who seems to be a new character, like the new Doctor Light.

Is no-one else tired of comics events focused around heroes fighting heroes?
Every Marvel event from the past 9 years (so every one of them, correct me if I'm wrong) has involved heroes fighting each other, whether intentional or mind-controlled.

I don't know what I actually expected, but the story is only six issues long, and will run through Justice League, Justice League of America, and Justice League Dark for 2 months. Not that I'm complaining, but I expected something bigger.

I expected it to be some big universe wide event, rather than a crossover between three titles.
Makes this seem like I can skip it, which is fine by me lol.
At least I'll have something to read with Ada in 2015.

You guys make me laugh. It's it's too big with a billion tie-ins you complain. If it's a smaller crossover you complain. You guys! XD @lem: The new Atom apeared breifly during the Rise of Atlantis crossover and then (fully) in the most reacent Justice League towards the end of the issue.

We're not complaining so much as being surprised, I think. I know I personally expected the event to be a lot bigger, and aside from a few books that say 'In the wake of Trinity War' or what-have-you like Phantom Stranger and Pandora (understandably), there's nothing bar the main six issues. Given comic companies and their love of making us buy everything in sight, it was a surprise.

File me under 'surprised' as opposed to 'complaining' as well plas. With all the teasers and whatnot, I expected this to be a big defining 'event' as opposed to a crossover. Especially since it has the whole Pandora angle. It isn't however, which pleases me. Means I can probably skip this without feeling like I'm missing out on anything major.
