Noticed we didn't have a thread. Decided to rectify that. Also, I was wary of the Russo Brothers directing but Brubaker came out and said this so I have a lot of faith now. Looking forward to this as Brubaker's run was my first real exposure to Cap, and seeing one of my favourite Cap stories getting adapted is very exciting.

Quite generic but I like it. Lem said it looks like the Winter Soldier star, which is a nice touch.

That picture's being doing the rounds on the internet for AGES! I thought it was just a cosplay.

Say this with every trailer but can't wait. This looks really good, so different from the first one but in a good way.

I like that they downplay the Winter Soldier till the last few seconds of the trailer. Also, Super Soldier suit

Awesome trailer, great to see Cap with Fury, Widow and now Falcon. Would it be too much to kind of wish Hawkeye was there too?

Saw this couple weeks at a midnight screening and loved it. The action scenes were incredible, my favourite probably being the highway attack. Evans is so believable as Steve Rogers at this point, he feels like he's stepped out of the comic book and onto the big screen. Falcon was great, loved his part. I said this after Thor: The Dark World but I really mean it this time, my favourite of the MCU after The Avengers and I'm not riding the hype train, couple weeks to digest it and I'm confident this is one of Marvel's strongest entries. This leaves the MCU in a very unexpected place and it's exciting to see how they pick up the pieces a year from now.
SPOILER STUFF BELOW! Highlight to read.
The Stephen Strange reference was awesome. So very brief but so very cool S.H.I.E.L.D. being secretly infiltrated by HYDRA was a great reveal and one I didn't think we'd see for a long while on screen. Taking down this huge asset that has linked almost all their films up to this point is daring and incredibly exciting. Ah Sitwell. We barely knew thee before you were thrown in front of a moving truck. R.I.P. Jasper. Would have liked some more Winter Soldier in all honesty but what we got was great. Sebastian Stan has never looked intimidating to me before but he was great as the Winter Soldier. I got chills on my back the first time we saw him, and he played him very well. I can't wait to see more of him So that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show? What the flip do they do now? Aaron Taylor Johnson was huuuuuge as Quicksilver. Before I realised it was him, I thought it was someone with Hulk like strength. However, seeing both him and Scarlet Witch was great. Loved the tone in this one. Was a little bit darker than previous MCU installments but not Nolan "Everything is bleak and depressing" dark. Great moments of humour were sprinkled throughout. Loved the car telling Fury that the air conditioning was still working. I found this hilarious but no one else did in my screening, when the Hellicarriers were destroying the Triskellion and Widow told Sam to stay where he was; him yelling "Not an option" killed me.

Very much enjoyed it, the second film is usually a lot stronger than the first and this followed that pattern easily. And considering that the first one was great, this was even better. I love how it's turned the MCU on its head, and can't wait to see where this takes Agents of SHIELD too.

The MCU has (mostly) subverted that though.
