So what console's is everyone getting? I know that not all of the specs have been confirmed but what interests you most at the moment?
For me, it would have to be PS4 due to how much Microsoft have pissed me off in the last couple of weeks.

Considering all the terrible stuff that seems to be linked with the XBox One, plus the fact that I don't particularly like the selection of games that the XBox has over the Playstation, I'll likely be going with the PS4 at some point.

Bit biased as I own a PS3 and have always been a Sony person but PS4 is a Day 1 purchase for me. Everything the PS4 had going for it I'm in full support of, bar the backwards compatibility, which understandably is out of control. As long as I can download the games on PS3 for free, or a small price point, then I'll be happy. As long as the price is within £300-400 I'll be getting it. Any more and I'll have to wait for Christmas money or a little longer down the line.
Xbox One, I like some of what I see but their main marketing drive, to become the ultimate home entertainment system just doesn't interest me. People don't buy games consoles to watch DVD's or go on Skype. Maybe they're trying to change that but I don't see it happening. All I want from my console is the ability to plays games first and foremost, Netflix and then TV/ DVD's. I was more interested in Microsoft's promise to show 15 exclusive games at E3 than I was more than their conference.
I reckon it'll come down to price for a lot of people in the long run. It'll be interesting to see who announces their price first and then who follows up after, with a matching or cheaper price point. But for me, PS4 is the one I want.
Plus, Watch Dogs. Just give me that now. And the exclusives that will come forward with the PS3. Uncharted 4 potentially. Infamous: Second Son. I'm sure Sony have a ton more up their sleeve which I can't wait to see.

I was interested in the 15 xbox exclusives. But it's fair to say that some of them may be for the kinect while others will be sequels to already existing franchises. At the moment, I'm looking at the two consoles like this.
PS4 It's been pretty much confirmed it will play used games. Same with the always online access. Looks Indie friendly May have Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy Exclusives. Might be able to play Metal Gear Solid 4
While the Xbox will Restriction on Used Games Always have to be online. Halo and Fable exclusives (to be honest, if Halo 4 is the last halo game I play, then great, halo 4 was a very good game, but the last thing I need right now is another halo game) and (Fable seems to be getting worse with every game. Fable I was excellent while II was very good. III was just poor so I have no hope for the fourth).
And this kind of saddens me in many ways. I played the first Xbox when it first came out and I have many memories of it. The only reason i went out and got a 360 was because my older brother had one and we could share games while facing each other online. I was also one of those people who didn't mind paying £40 for Xbox Live. But now I can see why people are so opposed to it. I barely go online anymore and I don't think that for what I'm paying, I'm getting the most out of it. I expect at least a few free games instead of some platform game where you have to buy coins to unlock levels. WTF?! The only thing I can say about XBL gold is that this will be my last year having it, and I only spent £30 for 13 months so yay me. But it looks like I will be getting a PS4 anyway, going back to Sony after a generation gap. So, it looks like I will be playing a few of you guys on it.

They haven't really confirmed anything about used games on the PS4. That's why it's too early to judge before this week at E3, where things should be clearer.
I don't think the first year of any console is its best, so I doubt I'll get either one of these straight away. The PS4 has given the best first impressions, but again, a lot is unknown.
Any console should be bought for the games it plays, even if the Xbox One is being pushed as home entertainment device that happens to play games, 15 exclusives is promising. If the PS4 follows suit, I'd probably end up with both consoles (and a Wii U once it gets itself together).

I've always been a Sony follower for consoles and Nintendo for handhelds. I read about the XBONE as I wanted to give it a fair chance and it's basically a Kinect TV that watches you. Definitely not what I look for in a games console.

Never been a follower of any one console maker.
I've owned a Mega Drive, PS1, PS2, PS3, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox and 360.
But Xbox One is the first console I've ever seen and thought "I don't want that"
As long as Playstation 4 doesn't block used games and allows me to share/trade/borrow games with my family and friends then it will be a day 1 buy.
Probably get a Wii U eventually but right now the only game I would want for the console is Super Mario Bros. U and I ain't buying a console for 1 game.

just seen E3
sony wins this easily.
PS4 will work just like our ps 1, 2 and 3's. will play used games, no 24 hour check or it shuts us off and when we put a game in 10 years from now it'll still work while xbone wont because its servers will be offline. Gaikai will allow us to play playstation 3 games.
£429 for an xbone and £349 for a playstation 4.
only thing I'm annoyed about is dead rising 3 being xbone exclusive, so disappointed with you capcom.
I've never been a console fanboy but Playstation 4 will be my console this gen.

Sony did very well at E3. Lots of stuff that impressed me. Microsoft did also but their policies are awful. Sony directly countering them was a great moment. The price is reasonable, even with the addition of playing for PS Plus but the service is well worth it. I'm looking forward to the PS4 immensely.
Now just time to stat saving...

Kingdom Hearts III Final Fantasy XV
What has Microsoft got? Halo
Get that shit out of here... But it's fair to say sony will most likely sell well and they answered some questions.

Sony won E3, even if I am a bit gutted about the multiplayer no longer being free.

Kingdom Hearts and FF are on both consoles. For the simple fact that it counters all of the negatives that the Xbox One has, the PS4 wins by a clear mile.
