Hey, I just wondered, what the people from our forum do for a living? I am, for instance, a barrister in Poland:)

I work in a toy store.
It's probably not good for my blood pressure.

Oh wow, a barrister? What's that like? Toy shops sounds fun! But in my head it's like a Disney film. I work in a comic shop. That IS fun.

It couldn't be further from a Disney film if it tried, most days.
Although I think spontaneously bursting into song a few times a day would work wonders.

A barrister? It is like an epilogue to a comic book starring some street level superhero (Spiderman, Daredevil or Batman) - the comic book ends usually when the perpetrator is found and/ or beaten by the good guy and then left for the police to take over. After that the trial begins and that's when I come in:) And I have all sorts of criminals - thiefs, rapists and murderers... Yet sometimes someone is not guilty of the alleged crimes. Of course, apart from that I get mostly civil law cases, so it's not a boring job.

Unfortunately in Poland there are not so many comic books sold - if we had here more comic book shops, I would consider a different career path... Maybe when I retire I'll start a comic book shop:)

At the mo? I'm jobless and just got out of Sixth Form, but I sometimes dwell into making music and also planning on making a Video Game (have to release it for free of course as I didn't go through legal measures to get the engine). But I would like to work in film, complete with writing up scripts and may go into the acting part just to show off. So yeah, I'm a man who wants to do too much with too little.
