Read this subject on another forum, which highlighted Spider-Man but I'll open it to all characters. Do you ever hear any actor's voice when reading a comic book, like Robert Downey JR for Iron Man. That's probably one of the most notable examples due to how he's made that character so successful. I know a lot of people hear Kevin Conroy for Batman due to the 90's series.
I myself simply don't hear any voices when reading. Never have done for any characters but apparently I'm different in this regard as many apparently do. Nice way to start the thread Alex, going against what you asked. Good job.

I've tried to do it before, but I always end up focusing on that instead of what I'm actually reading. I do sometimes catch myself doing the cartoon voices at times, but rarely.
