Makes sense, and I expect will appeal to a lot of readers since it has all of the more popular Doctors from the New era. Poor Eccleston.

Titan has just released a second Doctor Who comic called Doctor Who Tales from the TARDIS. The first issue reprinting the Ninth Doctor comic book plus the Christmas strip Relative Dimensions. This time it's the same format as the Marvel and DC Collectors' Editions.

Didn't Titan almost go bust or have to shrink back half their titles in the past after launching too many? They seem to be launching an awful lot of comics over the past few months, ones I didn't even know about. And if I don't know about them, how is anyone else? ><

I saw the new CE today and it caught me by surprise as I'd never heard of it til today. It's £3.99 for 76 pages which is steep for a CE sized comic, plus there was only one copy there (it came out today and I was at WHSmiths at 8:40AM so more could've been put out since.) I'll think about it, but likely pass on it.

Saw the Tales from the TARDIS one in WH Smiths... I assume its to accompany rather then replace the existing title (which continues to be in A4)? Kind of wish they'd have both titles the same size for consistency.

The Doctor Who Comic is gone as of Year 2 #6. The new stories will instead be printed in Tales From The Tardis from #4 onwards. I suspected this would happen as soon as they released it. It's easier to sell the comic as a CE, as I think the old format was confusing to newsagents (they mistakenly put it in the kids section when the audience is more like 12+.)
