You may have seen the news recently that Brian Michael Bendis has signed an exclusive contract with DC. What do you think of this news? And how do you feel about Brian Michael Bendis' time at Marvel? While I have mixed feelings about his work - there is no denying his impact on Marvel. I didn't enjoy his Avengers run initially, but enjoyed his later run (and now enjoy the earlier work knowing how it concludes). His X-Men run started off good, but I feel it ended too quickly and was rushed (it would have been nice to see BMB conclude his X-Men run properly and resolve the plotlines he started, particularly with the original X-Men being stuck in the present). I like Miles Morales, and it will be interesting to see what Marvel does with the character. Also interesting to see how he handles DC's characters. What does everyone else think of this news?

He was great until the Heroic Age, then he went downhill fast. I'd say that he's a better "idea man" than execution as he generally starts strong but never quite hits the landing. His dialogue gets old fast too, yet it suits some characters like Miles Morales. Overall, a mixed bag. I was genuinely shocked by this news though, thought he'd be made Editor in Chief at Marvel eventually.
