I notice there is another price increase to the relaunched Avengers Universe, and Deadpool Unleashed has also increased in price (from £3.99 to £4.50).
I initially assumed it was because recent issues where 100 page specials, but it looks like the price increase is permanent, and I'm guessing the other CEs will increase in price when they relaunch with the new format.

I didn't even notice when purchasing the first issue of Avengers Universe but that's an annoyance. I know it's still good value for what we get but that's a rather steep raise considering only a few years ago they were £2.95. I've considered dropping MWOM as of late as I tend to get it out of habit and I'm a little tired of the unpredictability and sometimes superfluous stories being printed; Guardians of the Galaxy: Mother Nature being a recent one. This might just be the nudge I need, which will be a shame.

I will be dropping all CEs by some point this year. They changed the paper quality to a better one only last year so this new format is un-necessary and the price increase just isn't worth it. It's cheaper to get titles you like in TPBs off Amazon, especially if you only get certain CEs for one title printed inside.

I've decided to drop the CE's once they reach the end of their current volumes. Therefore I've already ceased purchasing Avengers Assemble and Wolverine & Deadpool and seeing how haphazard Mighty World of Marvel is, I'm giving that the boot too. I really don't get why they're publishing the Reginald Hudlin, pre-Civil War opening arc instead of the 2016 run. I believe Essential X-Men has one more issue left before relaunching, and Astonishing Spider-Man will relaunch this year, according to the letters pages.
I'm moving entirely to digital, with Marvel Unlimited which is such a phenomenal service for how little it costs, I don't know why I didn't move to it earlier. the six month delay is equatable to what the CE's are at so that's not a bother at all. I'm sad to see print comics, and especially the CE's go, but economically, they've gotten that bit too steep for me now. It would have cost me £350 a year to continue to buy the CE's, it costs me just shy of £110 a year with Marvel Unlimited, and I have access to so many more weekly comics and a huge backlog of titles.

I too noticed the price increase and am dropping the CEs later this year. I wanted to earlier, but subscriptions got in the way. I'm dropping in favour of the American issues however, they may be just as expensive, but I prefer the quality and having the entire issue laid out instead of pages being cut or two pages on a since page for space.
That being said, I may continue with X-Men until its inevitable relaunch
