Have you read, or plan to buy, any of the Panini/Marvel "bookazine" Marvel Select titles? I picked up the Hawkeye and Young Avengers ones over Christmas, and got the new Moon Knight one in the post yesterday. I think they are really good value for money, and a great way for people who have seen the TV shows/movies to read some of the original adventures, with a complete story.

I haven't read any and don't really plan to read any of the current selection and that's not for any negative reasons, they're just stories I've either already read or that don't interest me. I do however think they're an EXCELLENT idea and are sure to bring in new readers due to their accessibility and their synergy with whatever the MCU is up to. I do always look through them whenever I'm in a WHSmiths to see if any catch my eye and I'm sure I'd have bought some back in the days when I hadn't read so much already

Definitely great value for money as well! Interestingly, for the recent Spider-man/Deadpool one (which I didn't get as Astonishing Spider-man reprinted them some years ago), my local WH Smiths had the Panini Graphic Novel nearby, reprinting the same issue. Bookazine was £9.99 for the first 6 issues, plus an issue of Amazing Spider-man. While the graphic novel was around £16 and just reprinted the first 6 issues. So definitely great value, and the quality of the collection was not that much different from the graphic novel version either! Just received the latest bookazine today - New Avengers: Everything Dies - reprinting an issue of Brian Michael Bendis's Illumaniti series , plus the first issues of Jonathan Hickman's New Avengers. I'm guessing this is to tie in with the new Doctor Strange movie (which hints at the Illumaniti appearing)!
