I'm looking forward to the new CEs. What where your favourite storylines, runs and moments from the previous CEs before they ended last year? Any particular favourite titles or highlights? Not just from the previous volumes, but the entire run of the CEs since they started?

I'll always have an affinity for the Spider-Man story "The Gathering of Five" as it was the first story I read in a CE. JMS' run remains my favourite run of Spider-Man though, which is another highlight.
The Events were always exciting, in particular the whole mega-story from House of M to Avengers Vs X-Men as the Marvel Universe felt really connected back then and so did the CEs as a result. I remember finding Planet Hulk/World War Hulk really fun too.

Ohhh boy, so a lot of what I collected in CE's I also later got in trades and the American floppies (after I dropped the CE's, I became more interested in picking up some of the originals). Of these, Uncanny X-Force comes to mind, that series was great and I could honestly give it another read.
New Avengers by Bendis was a particular great example for me too. I'm actually interested in Bendis on Justice League now, so I'm definitely going to pick that one up.
Also Superior Spider-man was the best thing to happen to Spider-man since the JMS days. Sadly, it was also the last great thing to happen to amazing until Spencer took over (there's Spider-verse, but I didn't think that was all that good good to be honest).
Secret Wars is probably my all time favourite event, it was just a massive shame that the CE's missed out on reprinting Hickman's Avengers runs for Remender's Uncanny Avengers. Both led to pretty big events, but ultimately, Hickman's stuff was the more important of the two. Plus it led to 'Time runs out' which was one of the best storylines ever in any comic.
Some classics, but Kraven's Last Hunt and Death of Jean DeWolff spring to mind. However I'm collecting the Spider-man epics so a lot of that is stuff I'm reading in those.
Planet Hulk is great, although I tried to go back to that last year and stopped after the first arc. Maybe it reads better in the episodic format.
For the stuff I read when I didn't collect them, I'll go with Morrison's X-Men run. I know Essential X-Men did in fact reprint this series, but this might be one of my favourite X-Men runs ever.
